Start Up Investment
As part of your pre-opening support, we provide on-boarding and training to prepare franchise owners to startup their 3 Day Kitchen & Bath home remodeling business. Our initial training runs for 1 week and is conducted in Lincoln, Nebraska. Here you will see first-hand the day-to-day operations of an established territory, apply the learnings hands-on using our estimating software, back-office financial management tools and see projects in process. Learn how to manage your team and deliver consistent results to each customer. We will also review your plans for grand opening and local marketing that complements the brand and attracts customers.
Once ready to start your first project, we will be there providing on-site support in your territory. Your franchised dealership can be run from a small leased space or a home office with approximately 100 to 300 square feet of space dedicated to the operation of the business. We’ll review the space you want to use for your 3 Day Kitchen & Bath.

Most of our territories are run by the owner with no employees. Work completed on site for customers is completed by sub-contractors – this helps to reduce the overhead. Sam Tidwell brings his expertise as a 3 Day Kitchen & Bath franchise owner to support new franchisees in delivering the “Ultimate Remodeling Experience.” With a background in engineering and residential design, he understands customer frustrations with traditional remodels and will help franchisees adopt proven systems that solve the most common problems homeowners face. His focus is on guiding owners to provide efficient, high-quality renovations while building profitable, sustainable businesses.
As owner of Tidwell ReConstruction, Sam spent nearly a decade serving clients in the Cincinnati area as a 3 Day Kitchen & Bath dealer. His business consistently delivered complete transformations “from floor to ceiling in three days or less,” building a reputation for top-quality craftsmanship and reliable service.
Earlier in his career, Sam worked with Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery division in multiple R&D co-op roles. There, he collaborated with clinicians, developed test methods, and gained exposure to advanced technologies such as ultrasonic frequency and electronic tissue sealing. He independently managed projects, created innovative solutions to clinical needs, and honed his technical writing and experimental design skills.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He contributed to NSF-funded research as an Undergraduate Researcher, where he studied liquid dynamics using high-speed imaging and advanced data analysis.
Today, Sam is happily married and a father of six growing children. He is involved in his local church community and enjoys hunting, homesteading, and playing chess.

Scott serves as both a franchise owner and brand leader within the 3 Day Kitchen & Bath system. He brings decades of construction and business experience to support new franchisees. He will guide owners with proven strategies in project management, sales, and operations while fostering long-term success in their territories. He joined the brand in 2004 and became owner in 2025.
Earlier in his career, Scott founded and led GoodeGuy Construction Inc., a residential and commercial construction company in operation since 1992 in Lincoln, Nebraska. There, he managed estimating, sales, and project delivery while overseeing a team that produced over $2M annually. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Construction Management from John Brown University in Arkansas.
Scott has brought his son into the business and is excited to help him continue in this legacy as a second-generation franchisee of 3 Day Kitchen & Bath. Scott and his wife of 36 years have 3 children and now 6 grandchildren with more on the way! We enjoy spending time with our family being at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or just hanging out.

Mike Wallace is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of 3 Day Kitchen & Bath and an active franchise owner within the brand. In his role, Mike leads national marketing strategy, brand development, and lead-generation systems while remaining directly involved in day-to-day franchise operations—giving him a real-time, boots-on-the-ground perspective on what it takes to build a profitable, scalable remodeling business.
Mike began his career in the trades, working hands-on in construction throughout high school and college before owning and operating his own construction company. His experience across many trades in construction and general building projects laid the foundation for his practical, execution-focused approach to business and marketing.
He holds a business degree with a concentration in marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and gained early professional experience in sales, where he developed a strong understanding of customer acquisition, messaging, and relationship-driven growth.
After discovering the 3 Day Kitchen & Bath model, Mike built and continues to operate a successful franchise in the St. Louis and Western Illinois region. What drew him most to the brand—and keeps him deeply invested today—is the structure of the model itself. The systems-driven approach created a meaningful lifestyle change for Mike, bringing clarity to his business, predictability to his schedule, and the ability to be more present with his family.
One of seven siblings, Mike values family, balance, and sustainability in business. His leadership focuses on building marketing systems that not only drive growth, but also support the structured, family-first lifestyle that defines the 3 Day Kitchen & Bath franchise model.
