Jennifer and Doug were ready to take their kitchen from the 1970’s to 2024. They had some good ideas for making it bigger — taking over the dining room space and vaulting the ceiling. As far as design, they relied on 3Day to come up with a plan, and Dave was glad to do it!

The Plan
Gutting the kitchen/dining room space was the first step in the project. And because of the details like changing the opening to the indoor patio/sunroom and other floor-to-ceiling renovations, the timeline was set for 8 days. The project included:
- Removing the lowered ceiling above the kitchen
- Installing new flooring, cabinets, appliances, lighting
- New paint, backsplash, trim
- A big kitchen island
- Expanding the opening to the sunroom
Timeline
The crew came on a Tuesday, took the weekend off, and then finished up the following Thursday. Not bad for a 50-year update!
