Can you change the layout, add an island or open a wall?
Layout changes are worked out during design, before any price is final. If you want an island, a different appliance arrangement or a more open connection to the next room, the designer walks through what the space allows. Whatever is agreed is reflected in the written price and timeline.
Do I choose cabinets and countertops before work starts?
Yes. Every selection, including cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet and hardware, is made during design. Materials are then ordered and on hand before demolition begins. Making those calls up front is what lets the project stay on schedule and keeps the price from shifting once the old kitchen comes out.
