Salt Lake City Remodels, Planned Before Day One

Some Salt Lake City homes still have a wall splitting the kitchen from the living and dining rooms, a guest bath that was never updated, or a main floor without a shower. Kelvin Lemmon's team takes on all of those. Kelvin works out the layout and materials with you, the price and schedule go in writing, and the crew shows up with everything already on hand.

Questions we get

Questions Salt Lake City homeowners ask

Which communities around Salt Lake City does Kelvin's team serve?

The team works in Salt Lake City itself, including Sugar House, along with Holladay, Murray, Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, Sandy and Draper. The crew also covers Taylorsville, West Valley City, West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton and Herriman. If your town sits close to that list, ask when you call and we will confirm.

Who will I be working with on my remodel?

Kelvin Lemmon owns this location and stays closely involved in design, helping homeowners settle layout, cabinets, countertops and flooring. One project manager stays with your job from the first appointment to the final walkthrough. On site, homeowners often mention Ilan and Travis by name, along with the electricians and plumbers who work alongside the crew.

How long will the work in my house actually last?

Most projects take 3 to 7 days on site; larger or multi-room projects run longer. More than one Salt Lake City household has had a kitchen and bathrooms finished together in about six days. Your start and finish dates are written down before work begins, so you can plan your week around them.

Do you remodel condos as well as houses?

Yes. Kelvin's team has remodeled a Salt Lake condominium that went well beyond the kitchen and bathrooms, reaching into the living room, dining room and office. Condo work follows the same approach as a house: design and selections are settled first, materials are on hand before demolition, and the price and timeline are in writing.

What if my older home hides surprises behind the walls?

Older houses often do. The team has worked in Salt Lake homes from several eras, including one built in the 1940s where the remodel added a first dishwasher and garbage disposal. Your price is set in writing before work starts, and reviews from those older homes note that the agreed price held after the walls were opened.

Can you remodel more than one room in the same project?

Yes. Salt Lake homeowners have combined a kitchen with one or two bathrooms, and one project covered the kitchen, the laundry room and new tile throughout. Multi-room work takes longer than a single room, and the written timeline reflects that. Several clients here have also come back for another bathroom after their kitchen was finished.
